Victory Sunday

An amazing thing happened at Calvary Baptist Church this past Sunday, Feb 23. To start things off, we had 7 baptisms. 7!!! I am very proud to say that two of my "babies" were among them, Gracie Ayers and Courtney Hutcherson. Another amazing thing was that a husband a wife were baptized together. Wow!

As if that didn't make Victory Sunday worth it, during Pastor Gary's message comparing and contrasting the new covenant with the old covenant. At one point, he said "That's covenant" and get this......one of the cymbals on the drum set "pinged". BY ITSELF! You could hear a pin drop. Gary looked at the drum set and said "God Whisper." If that didn't speak to you, what if I tell you it happened 3 times? That's right. Three separate times, the cymbal "pinged" by itself with not one moving or being anywhere near the drum set.

You will never convince me as long as I live that God wasn't truly present at Calvary Baptist Church on February 23, 2014. And He didn't shy away from making his presence known! :)
